Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before downloading, installing, or using AI Academy. By using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using AI Academy, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or have parental consent if under 13), that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and AI Academy.

2. Description of Service

AI Academy is an educational mobile application that provides:

• AI and technology learning courses with bite-sized lessons
• Interactive quizzes and progress tracking
• AI-powered chat assistant (powered by Google Gemini Pro)
• Gamification features including XP, gems, hearts, streaks, and leaderboards
• Virtual shop with avatars and power-ups
• Premium subscription plans offering enhanced features

3. User Accounts

• You may use the app as a guest or by creating an account with your email address.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• One account per person is permitted. Creating multiple accounts to exploit rewards or rankings is prohibited.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Premium Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

Subscription Plans:

• Weekly Pro: £4.99 per week — renews automatically every 7 days
• Monthly Pro: £8.99 per month — renews automatically every 30 days
• Yearly Pro: £59.99 per year — renews automatically every 12 months

Premium features include: Unlimited AI chat conversations, ad-free learning experience, unlimited hearts, advanced analytics, and exclusive avatars.

Billing: Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.

Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Cancellation: You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings (iOS: Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions) or Google Play account settings at any time.

Gem Packs (Consumable): Gem packs (100 gems, 550 gems, 1,200 gems) are one-time consumable purchases processed through the App Store or Google Play. Gems are non-transferable and have no cash value.

Refunds: All refund requests are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

5. Virtual Currency & Items

Gems, XP, hearts, avatars, and other virtual items within AI Academy have no real-world monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash. Virtual items are non-transferable, non-refundable, and may be modified or removed at our discretion. We reserve the right to adjust gem quantities and pricing at any time.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to hack, exploit, reverse-engineer, or manipulate the app or its backend systems
• Submit harmful, offensive, hateful, or inappropriate content via the AI chat feature
• Share your account credentials with others or impersonate another user
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to gain unfair advantages on leaderboards
• Manipulate game mechanics, gems, or XP through unauthorised means
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the app or its servers

7. Intellectual Property

All content within AI Academy, including but not limited to course material, lessons, graphics, user interface elements, the AI Academy name, logo, and branding, is owned by or licensed to AI Academy and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

8. Disclaimers

• The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• AI-generated responses from our chat assistant are generated automatically and may not always be accurate, current, or complete. Do not rely solely on AI responses for critical decisions.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to the service.
• Educational content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AI Academy and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, including loss of data, loss of profits, or service interruptions.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at bantulearn.info@gmail.com. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately and any unused virtual currency is forfeited.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified via a push notification or in-app message. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
